Another experiment with watercolour tonight... used them for a background and then when dry, painted over it with acrylic. It's a wee 4x6 board painting of a (presumably) mother and child out for an "Evening Stroll." It's simple, the figures are silhouetted in the sinking sun, but it feels cozy too. At least I think so. :)
Picture day tomorrow... can't wait to show you my new fairies! I'm rather fond of them... and I think I'm getting a bit better at contouring. Definitely a lot more time consuming, so I've had a fair number of late nights this week. I think it's worth it in the end though. Especially if I actually like the result!
